Auto-Base Station Override

Use the CARD Suite software application to enable or disable the auto-base station override. If this

option is enabled, while in quick-select paging, the console operator can override the preprogrammed

transmit channel for an alias using the channel

SELECT buttons. Unless the operator is very familiar

with the way the console uses paging channels and selected channels, allowing override of the auto-base

station select is not recommended.

If this option is disabled while in quick-select paging, the console automatically selects the paging

channel and the channel

SELECT buttons are inoperative. This ensures that the proper channel is

ALWAYS selected when using an alias to page.

Exiting Paging Mode

Press the PAGE button again to exit paging mode.
